Group Description

There was once a group for 50+ faves, but it was downgraded for some reason. In the spirit of self aggrandizement and utterly shameless self promotion, I thought I'd bring back the original benchmark into a new group.

Yes, yes, I know that 'faves' are oft villified as mere mutually proffered gifts between friends. In that respect, I suppose they resemble votes for the Academy Awards, another oft villified institution.

Whatever they are, they are nice to receive, a source of encouragement... and a sufficient number will keep a work exposed on the first page, so if you like a story, fave it so that the idea of 'mutually proffered gifts between friends' will not be the main reason for the giving.

These days, fewer and fewer faves are being offered by fewer people. They always encouraged me and I give them when I read something I like on Fictionaut. Think of it as a recommendation.
