in light of there being recent reports of people trading for faves and guilting for reads... I have the right to refuse a story that has been brought to light as one that has earned its faves out of anything other than the free will of the readers.
sorry for the typo. that was "BECAUSE you owe me one... "
yes, as group administrator you most definitely have the right to accept or refuse work at your discretion.
If Lemony Snicket shows up, I'm outta here.
I'm staying. He has the most divine lemons...
I think it's fine you've started this group, Meg. Ten is hardly the benchmark anymore, if benchmarks must be in place, and surely they should in any community, I suppose.
As for trading for favs, I don't really care if people do that or don't. I think everyone would agree we're all just here to read good writing and maybe offer something others will enjoy. Everything else is so far down the list one can hardly spot it without binoculars.
Have a round on me, folks. And keeping writing stories.
Shucks, there goes my one chance of getting work here.
A Fictionaut Mafia? I'm shocked.
This group is for the people (DO NOT BE SHY) who receive 25+ favorites on a story. Since our numbers are climbing in members and therefore in favorites - I thought it time to add this group. Best, Meg
