    The first half of this article is FASCINATING to me. Just the idea of this tribe's total lack of interest in anything "other",the challenge to accepted doctrine about human language, and the figure of this Everett guy who has become an authority on their culture, all got me thinkin'.

    I've read about this Everett and the Piraha tribe before. Fascinating. Really offers some perspective, doesn't it? Monkey-wrenching indeed: Bugs are a part of life. thanks for posting this here, Carol.
