The first half of this article is FASCINATING to me. Just the idea of this tribe's total lack of interest in anything "other",the challenge to accepted doctrine about human language, and the figure of this Everett guy who has become an authority on their culture, all got me thinkin'.
I love this kind of monkey-wrenching phenomenon. Thanks for pointing the way here.
