Hey, folks,
Kate is finally getting the recognition she deserves! Nic Sebastian, of Very Like a Whale fame, heard her story and decided to interview her.
The interview went up today! Hurrah!

Here are a couple relevant excerpts:
"I get discouraged and impatient when we haven’t had any good news for a few days. It usually spurs me on to send out more work. And when my lazy mule isn’t making enough progress, I coax him along with apples and sugar cubes."
"By the time I send out a submission, I have done a great deal of research about the publication and editors. I always know who I’m jumping into bed with before I switch off the lights."
All Hail Kate!
Thanks,
Bill
Which Kate? And why can't I find the posting on that site?
This is fascinating, Bill. Your wife submits your work for you? Lucky man! And neat that she was interviewed.
This is great! I really enjoyed reading this.
A submission a day!!! Wow! I wish my other half would send out submissions for me. I hate sending out but of course I send out submissions whenever I feel like it. I use to be more displined!
Great interview and congratulations to Kate!!! You too!!!
Ah, got the link and read the interview.
I want a KATE!!!
You are indeed a lucky man, Bill.

Susan,
It was a great day when those poems went up on the Istanbul Literary Review, long before I joined Fictionaut! There were actually five:

I've never quite figured out how the archives work at ILR, and I'm not sure there's an "Authors Page" that lists me, so I have to do the links like that! ;)
Thanks,
Bill
My bad--
yes, we took 5 of Bill's poems for this issue.
Thanks for posting the links, Bill.
