  Many of you have probably seen that Nanoism is currently running a pretty neat contest through the end of this month. We're looking for 5-tweet (yes, that's right) serials. General theme: "life stories"

  Also, if you mention this contest on your site in the next couple of days, you are allowed to submit 2 entries. We've already gotten a bunch of entries from Fn people, so come join the fun.

  As an update on this very spammy self-serving forum post:

  We picked winners and this month, starting Monday, December 7, we'll be serializing <a href="http://nanoism.net/meta/december-serials/">our four winning stories</a>.

  Additionally, there's <a href="http://www.fictionaut.com/groups/nanoism/threads/260">a new discussion of serialized fiction</a> going on at the Nanoism group, so come on by. I'm personally really curious to hear people's thoughts about the viability and need of serials in the 21st century.
