  Fellow fictionauter Michael Solender recently ran a 'hot' drabble-plus-one contest at his blog Not from Here, Are You? He received over 100 entries and published the best of them in a nifty chapbook you can read here: http://issuu.com/tknodcmn/docs/dog_days_of_summer_2010

  Every entry is 101 words, and includes the words' summer' and 'heat'. Plus some super photographs (and her own entry) by another fn member Kristin Fouquet.

  Dog Days is a great and eclectic read, with primo examples of effective flash. Enjoy! Peace...
