    I read Sy Safransky's letter announcing his imminent departure from The Sun Magazine.

    How does this tie into the Eagles? You'd have to watch the documentary to understand, but essentially it's the concept of "body of work". It takes time to get writing the way you want it, no matter the genre. There is not enough time to get it right, but you can get it the way you want it.

    Much to think about in that letter, Scott, thanks for posting it. I have friends who are in his same situation so it had particular meaning to me.
