Forum / Message notification system is fickle

    Twice now I've gotten responses to private messages, which I haven't discovered until I happened to check the original message to see if something was wrong. Dunno if it was a fluke or if I have others awaiting my response to the responses. It can get worrisome, you see. Almost as bad as losing a check in the mail.
