Finally found Classical Chinese Poetry: An Anthology tr. and ed. by David Hinton (FSG, 2008), focusing on early works through the Sung Dynasty. Almost five hundred pages packed full.
Wasn't looking for it but also found Japanese Death Poems (works by both Zen monks and haiku masters on the point of death), ed. w/ Intro. by Yoel Hoffman (Tuttle, 1986). Also well-stuffed w/ just under four hundred pages.
