I have one of them. Scroll to almost the end-right corner.
Check out Bill Yarrow's, too. We're next door neighbors.
Good collection, Gary - and Bill's also. Noticed works by Barbara Jane Reyes and Eileen Tabios- two of my favorite writers.
I would venture to say that most, if not all, of these selections are un-American/anti-American.
Maybe this isn't the place to ask, but I've been wondering ever since The Simpsons, is the spelling "duh" or "doh"
Un-American?
I, Too
By Langston Hughes
I, too, sing America.
I am the darker brother.
They send me to eat in the kitchen
When company comes,
But I laugh,
And eat well,
And grow strong.
Tomorrow,
I’ll be at the table
When company comes.
Nobody’ll dare
Say to me,
“Eat in the kitchen,”
Then.
Besides,
They’ll see how beautiful I am
And be ashamed—
I, too, am America.
Touché. Thanks, Arturo.
