I suspect a robot screens Amazon's reviews. Ordinarily mine are accepted immediately. Once, after an emailed rejection notice, I had to excise a "profane or obscene" word or two. This time, assuming the word "bastard" was the culprit, I re-submitted with "bast'd" substituting for the title word. Still wouldn't fly. Maybe "hell" or some other no-no? I decided not to play Church Lady May I, and instead posted the original on Goodreads, which, despite being owned by Amazon, accepted it without so much as lifting a censorial eyebrow.
