Forum / Who do I gotta kill to get invite privileges?

    I joined Fictionaut in 1961, years before the internet. At that time, I was told the site was in a kind of beta stage and that people could join by invite only and that eventually, anyone could join.

    Now, 73 years later, it is still by invite only. How do I earn the right to invite someone? I'm not saying I want to, but if I'd like to be able to tell people, "Sure. I COULD invite you, if I wanted to."

    As noted on the recent thread "Not again," the invite function appears to be--yes, again--unfunctioning. No one has joined since early September, and the two invitations I sent out (along no doubt with plenty of others)probably weren't received.

    Not that I want anyone else to join. It's already difficult to get a good parking space on weekends.
