    Something I've been thinking about since Raymond Carver's birthday...

    A lot of writers use that opportunity to tap into their inner minimalist, to celebrate an author and his work, but to me, the people who introduce you to those authors leave as profound a mark as the authors themselves.

    So for whoever's interested, here's my prompt: Write about whoever influenced your work the most. It can be any genre, length or form-
    I don't care. It just has to capture that person.
