I wrote a review about "Out of My Skin" by John Haskell over at Htmlgiant (http://htmlgiant.com/reviews/25-points-out-of-my-skin/). You should go read it, thanks.
Loved your review. Not sure that I can like the book, too. It's a problem of the intelligent review that feels its subject from the inside. And when you brought in Harold and Maude, and Orson Welles, I was completely lost. But your job wasn't to market the book and if the book brought up these associations and made you feel then perhaps it'll do that for me too, across the abyss of age and flabby skin.
Strong review. Love the technique. I believe you left me more interested in the Pollack stories than this book. Think I'll give them a try.
