    Hey all!

I'm preparing a packet on how to revise stories for my students. I'm looking for some exercises to give them, but I'm kind of stuck. Does anyone have any suggestions? How do you revise?

    Thanks :)

I have tried a prose cut-up technique in revising. It is difficult (time-consuming), but it can enlighten and entertain and expose better mappings for sentences. Cut up the original typed draft in strips and arrange the lines in random order. Type that then rework until the finished prose emerges.

How about using a visual tool like Wordle to look for overused words, look for themes, etc?
