    I didn't like the film much but I am very interested in what comes of this:

    for the simple reason that, in my opinion, we are seeing an inordinate amount of control exerted - and being attempted to be exerted - on the artistic process by monied corporations.

    This particular issue is in regards to film and may/may not have much to do with our end of the arts; nevertheless I think this is important enough to mention, and I hope any pending decision comes up in the favor of the filmmaker.

    Corporate control creeped in the '60's. Today it gallops unchecked, unashamed, and raw with delight under a chorus of joy sung by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir... but I really doubt that corporations would even want to take the reins of art unless art could turn an utterly obscene profit.
