  wins no warmth from worn trophies, alone
  lackluster this twilit year
  whiskdrinkeydrunk in hand, secret diabetic
  wet beads condense cut crystal tumbler
  sweats into your palm, mumble
  “step two three whirl two three”
  whisper silken leotard
  sway before a length of mirror, twirl
