    July 22, 2012, 4 p.m., St. Paul, Minnesota

Garrison Keillor appeared at the store an hour before the reading. He is proprietor. He took up roost at a window table at Dunn Bros. cafe around the corner while we read. We saw him before and after, as we walked to the lot.

Wonderful!!! Ann is what they call in acting a 'triple threat' MEANING she's got the writing talent, the talent to read her work, and her beauty.

Susan! I look like a neurotic, yet my voice is slyly and unsupectingly pleasing. Except when I lisp. My face in speech is on the prowl. If beauty can be unfixed, writing talent elicited, and delivery an instrument, then I could be, as you say, a "triple threat."

Thanks for the praise and direction!

An audio pro sent a note to say that he liked the dress. The stories he found quite humorous.

    Thank you, James Claffey.

I enjoyed Jason's reading from Americas. I appreciate his kindness, humor, and literary courage in characterizing countries in flash. Jeff's reading met with loud applause and approval from St. Paul and Cambridge, Mass.-based poet Joe Green, who wrote at FB that it ranked as performance with a few great notables.

Ann, I'm sure you were great at Common Good Books. Too good, in fact, for the likes of Garrison! His loss. Your videos were fantastic! Thanks for the linkage.

We also enjoyed hosting Jason and I have to agree, his is kind, funny, and his writing and reading is scintillating. We were able to interview him afterwards, on site at the Milwaukee Public House and he aired this morning, July 27th on Flash Fiction Fridays radio show with the theme No Boundaries, reading his piece, "Argentina."

Ann I saw you do your reading gig 'in person' and you were splendiferous. These 'video' things can distort like crazy.

Thanks, Susan. I have another video of the readings, an MTS file on a DVD, but do not know how to play it. Msg. me if you know. AMB
