  I only came to this thread because I thought the SPD (in Germany = Sozialdemokratische Partei, our Democratic Party) had endorsed Jurgen's book...heck I thought, that is unprecedented: they don't even support Grass (who's a member and supporter of the party)...what's going on?

  Still, congratulations. This is probably more useful than party endorsement... ;-)
