    Is it possible to add a jpg. to your story when publishing?

    yes, you use the source code to the image link:

    <src img="LINK">

    if the image is not hyperlinked, you can put it on Flickr or a photo sharing program and it'll generate the code for you. the image link can go in the body of the story at the end if you like, or in the top box of the sidebar.
