    971 MENU -- http://www.971menu.com -- is proud to present our first-ever award for short fiction, open to all authors

    1st Prize: $200 US and publication in our prize issue
    2nd Prize: $100 US and publication in our prize issue
    3rd-5th Prize: recognition and publication in our prize issue

    entry deadline: April 1, 2012
    winners announced: April 30, 2012

    word limits: 1500 - 3500
    -word limits may be met with a single piece or with a combination of up to three pieces

    multiple entries allowed
    no simultaneous submissions
    no poetry
