Can you tell me how the list of stories works. I thought the ones at the bottom of the list would be the newest because I thought the last published one was appearing at the bottom. Now I think I've got that wrong. They actually seem to be changing their order from time to time. I haven't seen a date of post/publication on them either. Can anyone tell me how the list works in terms of when the stories were posted? Thanks!

The list on the profile page combines - based on a formula - views (by Fictionaut members and readers outside Fictionaut), comments, and faves. The work at the top of the list has the greatest combined score. I'm not fully certain how the combination works. The top piece on my page has fewer faves than the piece listed second, but does have a larger number of views.

The list on your story page is chronological - recent at top to oldest at bottom.

Thanks Sam. That explains why I thought stories were moving their positions!

Glad it wasn't just me wondering about that!
