I am an amateur writer. I've been scribbling away for a few years now, but it's only been recently that I've started posting some of my work on the internet. 'The Grimmery' is an urban fantasy/supernatural serial story about evil spirits, ties, amnesiac weirdos, and their tale of rediscovery of themselves and the titular organisation. It updates less often than I would like.
What I read, what I watch, and what I observe inspires my creativity. I write because I enjoy writing, because I want to share my stories with other people. And maybe a little for the accolades. :P
I love fantasy, but my painfully slow rate of reading means it takes quite a while to get through those huge fantasy epics I favour (for instance, it took me longer than a year to get through all of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time books, but it was totally worth it). Currently I'm reading Stephen King's Dark Tower series, and am enjoying it immensely.
