Obsessive writer. Huge nerd. Film geek. Live by the beach.
I have a couple of books out, both anthologies of shorts that range from tiny little flash stories to novellas.
A novel is a couple of weeks from completion. Then begins the merry dance of trying to find a publisher/agent.
The world is such an odd place that it's hard not to be constantly inspired by all the horror, beauty and freakishness all around you. Consequently, pocket-sized notepads are the greatest thing ever invented. Other than that, artists like Chris Morris, Werner Herzog and Terry Gilliam make me want to produce work that blows someone away like they did to me.
But I'm also inspired by seeing terrible stuff that's found an audience and knowing the world deserves better (Hi, Dan Brown). That's pretty pretentious though, right?
