I'm a freelance writer and editor. I write about travel and food, and I have a passion for writing short stories. I'd love to get more of them published. I'm also finishing a novel.

Why do you write?

I write because I can't stay away from it. It's what I do and the only time I feel truly me.

Any favorite authors? Books?

My favourite authors include Mavis Gallant, William Trevor, Alice Munro, Flannery O'Connor, Seamus Heaney, Samuel Beckett. My favourite book is The Master and Marguarita, which I fell in love with in a university Russian literate course.
