Why do you write?

I write about animals and forces of nature. I am in the process of writing a novel about a small dog who gets swept away by the rains. The story chronicles his adventures and whether he gets back home, or not!

Any favorite authors? Books?

Too many to list here. I love fiction with a historical background, researched well. James Michener is a master at this.
