Saul Bloodworth was born in Baton Rouge, LA. He took acting classes in New York City, but left town when the FBI named him a person of interest in a vast right-wing conspiracy involving J. Edgar Hoover. Saul went undercover to Nevada, where old family friend Leo Strauss got him a job at a secret government facility to develop a UFO laser flak. After Janis Joplin died, the love of his life, he traveled India, Mongolia, and Luxembourg to finally settle in swinging London. He left London after the tabloids exposed his affair with a member of the Royal Family. Back in the US, he landed a job as a cast member at Disney World, FL. He played Dale, the chipmunk, and occasionally Barry Diller’s evil twin. In addition, he wrote sitcoms under the nom de plume Dan Quayle, and had a supporting role as a disgruntled French playwright in Woody Allen’s landmark movie "Here’s Looking at You, Kid," which was cut out. Eventually, Saul returned to New York where he joined The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board. He got fired only days later for calling Ann Coulter "Leni Riefenstahl‘s bitch" during the Charlie Rose Show (he also stole Rose’s wig). Friends got him a job as a speechwriter for the Reverend Al Sharpton, which he still holds. In addition, he works as a consultant for Robert Novak. Saul was married to hotel heiress Paris Hilton, albeit for only two days, due to religious reasons. His estranged son, from a previous marriage to Nancy Reagan, is a line producer for Fox News. The Cabal is his first novel. It is based on a true story.
