About Me

My name is Pam Rosenblatt. I'm a poet, poetry reviewer, poetry editor, and arts journalist. In 2009, I wrote a chapbook called On How to Read - THE MANUAL published by Ibbetson Press, Somerville, MA. In 2006 - 2008, I published reviews of poetry books online with The Boston Small Press & Poetry Scene. Visual art articles have been published in The Somerville News, a weekly newspaper, and NewsBlaze.com, an online newspaper. I enjoy writing poetry, going to poetry reading, and attending art shows.

Why do you write?

My creativity is fueled by words, music, people, animals, and situations. I write to communicate, to make people aware of what's happening around them. Sometimes I like to create poetry that makes people laugh, sometimes I like to create poetry that makes people cry, but always I like to create poetry that makes people think.
