Mark H. Massé is a professor of literary journalism, graduate studies director and director of the Journalism Writing Center at Ball State University, where he has taught since 1996. A freelancer for more than 30 years, Massé has published articles, essays and stories in international, national and regional periodicals as well as creative writing collections. He is author of two books of narrative nonfiction, TRAUMA JOURNALISM: ON DEADLINE IN HARM’S WAY and INSPIRED TO SERVE: TODAY’S FAITH ACTIVISTS. He has also published DELAMORE’S DREAMS, a novel, and has recently completd his second novel, WHATEVER COMES. A New York native, Massé has degrees from the University of Oregon and Miami (Ohio) University.
