I've been a writer for roughly twenty years, and a writing coach for four. (Being a coach pays better.) At the moment I'm finishing up a novel (Playing With Fire) and polishing up a play (Dos Coyotes). In whatever spare time I put together I mess around with photos, friends and shamanism.
Who knows? It seems that whenever I contemplate the idea of not writing so much, something rises up inside of me that says basically, "Well what would be the point of living then?" I'm not sure if I write because I want people to read (or see) what I write, or perhaps because I was a successful writer in a past life and I can't seem to get out of that rut. I do seem to enjoy writing, so I'm more than happy to keep doing it. The river of creativity seems to flow close enough to my property.

Pleasure meeting you last night, Kurt. Hope you had as much fun as I did at the show! Neil brought the heat.
