  • About Me

I have a chapbook, Case Walking: An AIDS Case Manager Wails Her Blues, published by Finishing Line Press in 2007. My first full size book is No Father Can Save Her, published by Plain View Press in 2011. You can read more of my writing on my website.

I've studied fiction with Tom Spanbauer and write creative non fiction.

    I'm a counselor in Seattle.

    Why do you write?

The need for expression, to find ways to explore the world and document what excited me. To play with words and explore hand-to-page. I love combining art and words.

    Any favorite authors? Books?

Jan Beatty, Lana Hechtman Ayers, Kate Braverman, Wanda Coleman, Dorrianne Lux. Many contemporary poets. I love to read William Stafford, Richard Hugo, Charles Simic on writing.
