About Me

I am the author of "Moonlight, Murder & Machinery", a YA Steampunk romp set in Regency England and starring Shelley, Byron, Keats and Mary Godwin. I am also a British freelance writer and teacher of English and American literature based in Japan. I am currently working on an Urban Fantasy trilogy inspired by Japanese mythology.

Why do you write?

I write because I have to. This is my life's work, my life's love. I live surrounded by books and until now, they have been my best friends (although vintage 12" albums sometimes give them a run for their money).
