About Me
At the end of 2002, I left Los Angeles and came to Barcelona in the hopes of becoming an author. My latest book, From Barcelona Vol. 1: Stories Behind The City (ISBN 1905430744) has just been released by Book Shaker. A collection of ten short stories, it is what I describe as "city-lit" and stars such famous characters as St. George and Antoni Gaudi, in addition to a tourist, a ghost and many more. Described as a fresh and unique literary take on the capital of Catalunya, its goal is to entertain, inform and, hopefully, inspire aspiring authors to write about their cities. It's what I hope is the beginning of a literary career.
Why do you write?
This insatiable need to put ideas and images on paper. I like to tell the story of others and it's the only thing I don't mind spending eight hours a day doing.
Any favorite authors? Books?
Dracula is my favorite book of all time. Jim Thompson to me writes the perfect tense books. I like the surrealism of Haruki Murakami and the way the Dice Man made me question my way of life.

Hey, Señor Holland!
I've matched you with a story about Sevilla. It's from the book I'm writing about my disastrous career as a missionary. Hope you enjoy! Feliz año nuevo a ti, tambien!
