I write for or about kids. At the moment, I'm focused on completing a middle grade novel, but I've written picture books and chapter books as well. I blog about my own kids and their friends (as well as other random thoughts). I'm contemplating getting an MFA through the Vermont College program.
Kids fuel my writing. I was a voracious reader between ages 9 and 12, and today I write for that audience, because I remember there weren't (and still aren't) enough good books on the shelves of libraries to fill kids' reading appetites.
