I was born in Boston and live in Seattle. I recently finished my first novel, have been working on some new shorts, and I'm an associate editor with Narrative Magazine.
Ask me again later.
My list always begins with To Kill A Mockingbird and Lolita. I've read a lot of Philip Roth recently--Ghost Writer (again), Operation Shylock, and American Pastoral. William Maxwell's So Long See You Tomorrow has a special place in my heart. One of my favorite new novels is Jonathan Evison's All About Lulu.
I'm new to this site, so I'm not sure what people write on walls, but I couldn't stand to see Dennis' wall empty. He deserves better.
