I can't help it, really; it's what I do. Even if nobody wanted to buy my books, I'd still write them. Heck, I wrote them for years before anybody did. It's an affliction to have thoughts in your head that you'd like to see transformed into words. And the only cure is to sit down and work. Waiting for inspiration to strike is a dangerous muse. I never believed in that. The paper doesn't care if you're inspired, and neither will the characters you haven't written yet. All they demand is that you afford them your time, every day, and let inspiration do whatever it will.
