When I was ten, I wrote this very long handwritten story about cat figurines that came alive and solved mysteries with a ten year old girl I tried to make seem different from me by naming her named "Anne," which is my middle name. The mysteries would always stop in the middle because I didn't know how to finish them. I just liked researching the names of various types of cats. My favorite animal at the time was an ocelot.
I like diagrams, media that references other media in obvious or subtle ways, "playing with language," the ways in which we are and are not robots, the ways in which we are and are not animals, and (lately) the color orange.
