P.S. I believe publishing can be saved. It just needs to grow up and believe in itself again. If there are new carriers--and there are--embrace them. join them, better them, invest in them, love them. The old carriers--music, art, whispers--will gladly follow. If we must make a new garden, so be it. Let's get to work right away. Literature is too beloved a thing to let die in the past. This site is proof of the brave souls still willing to try.

Hayden's Ferry Review is very cool. I loved the little body slumping on the stool. There's something so human and perfectly beautiful about that. Bring it on, Beth.
