I'm a word junkie. My favorite thing to see when I open up my igoogle page each morning is the dictionary.com word of the day. My recent writing has been mostly dedicated to work, which tends to stifle my creativity and stall my drive to write for personal enjoyment/edification. In short, my creativity is the crumbling chips-ahoy in the greedy hands of a workplace cookie monster. And so: I'm joining fictionaut to be inspired by a community of writers. For now, I'm reading. Soon, I'm posting.
I get inspired by new experiences, and reading other people's words. Nothing like being impressed by an amazing analogy to make me want to create my own.
