About Me

Annemarie Bogart is aspiring to become a novelist. She has published stories and poems on House of Horror, Liquid Imagination, Mused: BellaOnline's Literary Review. Upcoming works will be featured in Rage machine Magazine, Irish's Story Tymes and the Elements of Horror Anthology.

Her manuscript, AMAZ AND GRACE, made it to the quarter-finals of the 2009 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards.

She lives in Belle Harbor, NY with her husband and three young sons.

Why do you write?

I write, simply, because I need to. A story takes over my brain, and I have to get it out before the characters drive me crazy.
It gives me a excuse for my insanity obviously.

Any favorite authors? Books?

I love Harlan Coben's thrillers.
