Life in Paragraph

by Christopher Bowen

This doesn't have to be a groundbreaking sentence, the fact that it's said there someday will be others like you that, I don't know, I heard when I was little and again the other day. Like down the drive with a window half down the way love waves, the way she motions to you to come or go while you stand on the lawn with the coffee in the ceramic cup waving goodbye in your pajamas. Your cup says I heart NYC and grace is leaving behind the things not meant for us.
