what fascinated me about

Aloysius
were his gargantuan hands
and elongated fingers.
all i can think of when i hear Joyce mentioned in conversations
is the dexterity he must have had on the Underwood
as he was banging out the words.
Thelonius Monk and Vladimir Horowitz
hold the same obtuse fascination.
as do Scott Joplin and Fats Waller.
those oblong digits
working their magic on keyskeyboardstimelinesofhistory.
they save us.

excellent good fun; loved the video also*
enjoyed.
Thanks. Ah, James...no disrespect to one of your fave authors; in fact, much respect but...those fingers...
Cool fun.
Well, this captured my attention, made it stand at, LOVE it. Persevere. And it doesn't seem to disrespect the master in that it loves his hands. And I've thought about my master pianist/composer friend and of the customized Steinway I would buy for him and roll out on the stage, keys wide to accommodate his major fingers. *

This fucking rocks. So cool.

Thank you all; the video that goes with this is worth it; the link is at the right of the story; I wish FN had the functionality to post videos along w/our pieces. This one is married to the visuals.
Slick.
Very cool, Alex. Love the spidery fingers in the video. Clever stuff.

Loved the whole idea of this, and the whole beginning was wonderful, this idea that there's something else about Joyce that fascinates you... but then it really resonated when you got to Horowitz... ah, yes!

Cool stuff. I'm glad you thought of Monk's hands. Great touch.

love the temper here. love joyce, too, alas, but this will draw people from above and below.
I enjoyed this.
Thank you all; it was something a bit different; had to try it, always up for exploring visual fields with or via writing. I really appreciate your time reading and your comments.
Marcus, spot on, and that's really the point; some people work for me, others don't, but the respect is always given. If Joyce fascinates me in my own way, so be it.
John, Monk is amazing, now HE works for me all the time, but those fingers, those hands, that musical brain...
Michelle, Horowitz...enough said.
Really like the way this inter(acts)sects with the cool video.
Thanks much Bill.
Cleverly cool.*
Gloria, thank you!
