Please remember you must post links in the comments at the Friday Fiction blog (link in the sidebar) for these stories to be counted toward donations. I'm not trying to be difficult, but counting all the stories is easier that way, and the challenge began there.
I invite you all to follow the weekly challenges, they've been a great inspiration, and the site is run by Ron Phillips, who is here on Fictionaut.MaryAnn Kolton suggested that these stories be collected outside Fictionaut, and they will be collected as links on the Flash Fiction Friday blog.
Group Description
This week's cue at Flash Fiction Friday is Lost Children. Street kids, runaways, the lost, the forgotten. The kids who grow up with dead fish eyes. Some transcend it, some join the vicious circle. Tackle this rough subject in 700 words, and tell us a story.
I will donate $5 to PROTECT, the National Association to Protect Children, for each entry, and Fiona will donate 5 pounds to Children 1st, a Scottish children's charity.
You can post your story to Fictionaut but to be counted, you must post a link to it at Flash Fiction Friday.
