Anyone else out there working on stories to submit with MFA applications?
I'm thinking over applying to MFA programs - just recently. I will need to decide if that's the direction to go within a few weeks, I'm not sure yet. So I'm just wondering if anyone else is working on a story for an MFA submission...

not novel excerpts--but longer stories
what is a long story? well, on fictionaut, there is a decided preference for shorter stories, so let's call 1,500 words or longer, "the longer FN story." that sound ok?
