  I fucking hate David Erlewine's story "No More Carl". It's posted in the thread "Good Kids, Bad Endings" (what a title!).

  Anyone else really hate the story and want to share why? What's up with a kid floating in the next door neighbors' pool? What's up with the turgid prose? Is it me, or is Erlewine the stupidest last name you've heard?
