52|250 has a new theme for a new week! This week is "Sleep". Submissions are due by Sunday, August 22 in whatever time zone you hang you hat. Send submissions as plain text via email to 52250challenge@gmail.com; please do post your work to this Fictionaut group, but unless we receive it via email, we can't assure that it will make it onto our website. Make sure to let us know what week you are submitting for.
And check out Week 14's flash-fiction on the them "I can't wait", which will be posted to the website by Friday, August 20. Personally, I can't wait!

CHALLENGE: to write one flash fiction story every week for 52 weeks; to produce a year’s worth of work, as colorful and grand as it can possibly be, in segments 250 words or less.
Start Date: Monday, May 10, 2010
End Date: Sunday, May 8, 2011

Anyone can join! And you don't have to write every week to play.
