    Anyone else having a problem?
    I hit "publish" then hit "private."
    Then group-it to specific groups.
    I can read it on the group pages, but nobody else can!
    What am I doing wrong???

    Guessing that "private" means private all over including the groups. Think it has to be "public" before anyone can read it on the group pages.

    Can others see a "private" story if the group itself is designated private? Most of the groups here are considered public and therefore, I would imagine, the story would have to be public for it to be viewed by others.

    you can only post private stories to private groups
