Ola amigos= I know it's been awhile since I rapped at ya.

But seriously, these terms are relatively new to me, and googling has been helpful and all, but I still feel like an old man on this.

Bizarro fiction- I'm intrigued by the idea, but it seems like some of the bigger players are on a self-promotional kick, and, while I might admire what seems like a community aspect, the pitfall of that is there could be a lot of communal self-congratulations and back patting.

New Weird- kinda the same thing

Alt-lit- so, is this just, like, flash fiction on the internet? Isn't that what we've been doing here?

I mean, I'm not trying to prematurely write a thing off. New things people do are fine. I'm just kinda sideball eyeing the way I did when you're hearing about kids creating new music genres on their notebooks in their bedrooms- a lot of it kinda amounts to bad, lo-fi techno.

Anyways, if anybody here has any recommendations I'm all ears.

Certainly more than hints of a beginning or foundation in Donald Barthelme, Kathy Acker, Julio Cortázar, Samuel Beckett.
