    I was the first to find out? I happened to try to look up something and found Metazen (the whole bank of it) missing. The blog is still there, however, that contains the Metaviews. I hope it remains.

    Hey, Barry. I left Metazen in spring last year because of personal reasons. I noticed that it had slipped away a couple of months ago and contacted Frank about getting the archives back up. Nothing's happened yet, but I keep hoping.

    Disappearing into the ether, ala Emprise Review, Metazen, et al, is a great problem Mike Joyce at Literary Orphans is trying to help alleviate. Perhaps he can save Metazen's archival treasures if Frank or someone there will contact him.

    Meanwhile, keep your backups. =)

    I saw Frank's tweet back when it shut down and was quite sad about it.
    Mike's effort with The Rookery is innovative and welcome. I hope it all works out. It's sad to see your work disappear into the blackness when a journal goes kaput.

    I've offered to pay to get Metazen back online, but I've received no response. I still hope to hear something from Frank, who has the back-up.
