    That was interesting. I'll have to find out more about the authors mentioned! I certainly connected with the "healed through knitting" concept.

    Great site, Charlotte. Good piece about the essay with Roxanne Gay and Dani Shapiro.

    I'm from Nola. Don't know who Mark Folse is though. Will investigate.

    I'm glad you like the site, Lucinda. Mark is such a talented writer plus he publishes a list of literary happenings in New Orleans every Thursday. I just had a minute to read the post about the essay panel at TWF and I love this quote by Kiese Laymon:

    “The internet has done a lot of terrible things, but one of the best things it’s done has democratize this writing thing."

    Amen.
